Ink & graphite pencils, 2015
Rosilda became voiceless… after her mother drowned herself in the lake. Now Rosilda communicate by writing down her thoughts in a book that she always carries with her. In her paintings, one can also see that her mother is still very present, haunting her. She has seen her many times, like “white shadows”, as she calls them. Her mother once let plant a garden with only white roses, she was told that it would purify the soul. - Inspired by Maria Gripe.
