Updates -taking new chances
March 5th, 2014 | Other

The move to the new apartment has just begun, this weekend we will start painting the walls. It feels so wonderful! And I hope it will turn out just the way I imagine it^^ In all the stress of planning everything I feel happier and I get a lot of things done. For example I’m also working on getting my artworks up for print on Society6 and Redbubble. If there’s any of my artworks that you think I should not miss to put up, you can suggest it to me now!:)

I’m also working on a new ink painting, that you might have seen w.i.p’s of here. We will see if I get to finish it soon, but at least it is starting to come along.

Every year I have as goal to have an exhibition, so I’m also trying to put together a portfolio that I can show up to galleries around town. Well, it’s not as easy as it might sound, I’m terrified!! What work should I choose? What do They want to see? I don’t know! And I’m pretty sure they are going to reject me anyway. Cause I don’t have a fancy art school education or the right connections and I don’t have a very artsy abstract style (that’s all I see in the galleries here) or a complete series of artwork. But I feel like I have to do this to take the next step, I want to make something of my art, that’s been my dream ever since I started drawing. And if I don’t even try, I will be very disappointed in myself. It’s hard work, that’s how it always has been and that’s the only way to go to get to your dreams. But I could really need your support right now, you who believe in me…

Bwt, we are working on a way for you to easily follow whenever I make an update here. You can also follow my FB-page or Twitter to not miss a thing. If you have got any suggestions or find something not wotking with my website, contact me so we can fix it!

Take care for now and I hope to show you some art soon!

“If only I could...if only I could feel no more.
To take out my heart and put it in a shielded place,
where no more emotions could destroy it.
…if only I could, take my heart and isolate it within a sphere of glass.”

Isolate’ an ink painting about a desperate act to try flee from your emotions.
I know many need to see this on this particular day, to know that you’re are not alone. That it’s ok to be sad. And that it’s not such a good idea to try to flee your emotions, even though it can really hurt you sometimes. It’s better to let it out and let go of them. I know it’s hard and I know it hurts and that it sometimes feels like it’s going to rip you in pieces. But please for me, do something creative of it instead, you don’t have to hurt yourself.
All my love to you♥
