Just the finishing details left on my Child of Light fanart. I’m so in love with this game!:] By the way have you played it? Or listened to its wonderful music? I listen to the soundtracks as I draw, they are perfect to draw to. Here’s one for you: Coeur De Pirate – Pilgrims On a Long Journey.

I’m gonna give Redbubble a second chance, now that they also got Giclée fine art prints. Both Redbubble and Society6 has got pretty much the same products, except for some and the sizes may differ, but I tried to get the prices about the same on both shops. Read more about my online shops under Shop. Important to notice is that I lowered the prices for prints on S6! So you can choose which ever store you prefer best.
Go and take a look! (and add me if you’ve got an account too)
End of exhibition
July 29th, 2014 | Exhibitions
My artworks are now home again after the summer exhibition at Gamla Kraftstationen in Deje, Sweden. Thank you everyone who visited and that left me with such a warm feeling in my heart! I almost sold out on all my postcards, if I would have known I would have brought some more. Those that are still in stock can be found in my Etsy shop, or bought through me personally.
And at last here are some photos from the exhibition at the old power station and my “dark cave”:
It was an honor to share walls and meet with the famous Swedish artist Lasse Åberg. Here is me and Anna infront of his artworks.
Poison - Oleander
July 14th, 2014 | New artworks
“Love is a poison, for good and bad. Just like a poisonous flower, it’s beautiful and sweet but could kill you in the next second.”
This is the 3rd portrait in the series of poisonous flowers, and it might be my favorite one so far. My thought behind this portrait series was to show a metaphor for love, how it weights between being the most wonderful thing in the world and of being the most painful thing. The line is fine, and sometimes it can feel like you love someone so much, that the love itself could poison you, maybe even to death.
It started out as one idea for a portrait together with the poem you see above, but before I had even finished it, I thought it would be nice to make more portraits with the same concept. And this is very unlike me, since I have never been able to do more than two works in a series before. But this concept seems to have occupied my mind completely. I’ve also done two drawings with ink and pencils ‘Moonseed’ & ‘Aminita virosa’ that follows the same theme with poisonous plants. My wish is to one day show them all together (and more) as one whole exhibition.
